PlayCrafter: super easy online flash game maker

Have you ever wanted to make your own flash games but have not had the skill or even the program?

Well http://www.playcrafter.com has a online tool that lets you make flash games online.
The program is pretty limited however, there is no scrolling support and the stage is a fixed size. For  5 dollars a month you can even use the export to .swf feature. This would allow you to upload your game on sites like newgrounds.com and addictinggames.com. What I would do, is make a game first, upgrade to premium, then get the flash exported and sponsored for cash @ http://www.flashgamelicense.com/

Just thought that this would interest some people.

Here is an example game made with gamecrafter on kongregate

This is even easier than scratch for game making purposes.However, it offers little in code customization. What you do is drag and drop sprites with specific behaviors from a library. Also, artwork is completely customizable. You could easily create a platformer game with this in an hour.

Play crafter is preety cool, I started using while looking for game creation tools, I found Scratch and Playcrafter about the same time. I also met the developers and ForkLiftKid at the maker fair, i don't go on that much but I'm keikij there too

Whoa, that game is pretty good. 9 levels sounds short but I found them really challenging  smile

EDIT: The only level I couldn't beat was the last one.

Anyway I'm checking PlayCrafter out.  smile

EDIT: My first game! Assault a fortress and get the treasures.

I got sorta popular on there - They decided to post my Hovertank Wars project on Newgrounds/Kongregate.  big_smile

The cool thing is that I'm getting points (and therefore, levels...) quickly, and FREE PIPS. Right now I'm level 7, got 180 pips (30 everytime someone registers by checking out my game on NG/KG, 30 more if they reach lvl. 2, and 60 if they reach 10), and 471 pts.

Sorry if I sound braggy - I'm just too excited  tongue
