Help with a project being able to reconise your own voice

trying to make it that, if you say Los Angeles, Calafornia, the project regonises what you said and it says back what you said, if it doesn't reconise, it says "Sorry i didn't get that."

I'm afraid that kind of project is not possible in out-of-the-box Scratch.  The only audio sensing available is the loudness of the input - that's not going to be enough to identify words.

You might be able to do something along those lines with an external frequency analyzer circuit and some connection to Scratch using remote sensors or the picoboard.  It would still be a struggle though, I would think.

Ok. will this sort of thing be possible in Scratch 2.0?

if you know TellMe, they have a toll free number you can call. it reconises your voice too.
