countdown timer

I dont know how to make a countdown timer in scratch HELP

set [ timer v] to (15)
 repeat  (15)
change [ timer v] by (-1) 
wait (1) secs  
 end

0.98 is more accurate than 1.

reset timer

repeat until <(timer) > (WANTED VALUE)>  

set [time remaining v] to ((WANTED VALUE) - (timer))

end

say [Time up!] for (2) secs
