In Stencyl you can create a "standalone, desktop game" in which it would be like a game that you installed on your computer and click to just play, with no code editing and so forth. It's like installing a PC game, where you just play the game. I think this would be a great feature to add for Scratch. There could be a "Create as Desktop Game" selection under a new drop down menu at the top of the Scratch program called "Finalize". If you clicked to create as a desktop game it would open up your files and you can add just the game to the file you want, and, whenever you want to, you can click on that game in the files and play it, as long as you have flash. You wouldn't even need Scratch to play it!
Also, I think it would be awesome if, under the "Finalize" menu, if there was a selection called "Burn (which means to put on a disk) to CD ROM". This would put the game onto a blank CD ROM disk in your computer, and the game could be permanent on the disk, and nothing else could go on it. Then, after it's burned, if you put the disk in another computer, or the same one, it will open up the game installation menu and allow you to install it to your computer, and even make a shortcut to it from your desktop.
Problems with it
-Many Games Need the Disk in to Play
Solution
-when you select "Burn to CD ROM" an option will pop up to make the game so it can be played without the disk in or if it needs the disk in. Thank you!
This is also on the Scrtch Suggestions here.
