This school year started out great. 6th grade, oh yeah! I put Flutters on my binder, because half of me just knew there would be a brony at the new school.

..........I was false.

Anyways, i made a close friend in about the 3rd week of school, and we liked similar things except MLP. Now, i didn't mind that. I told him i was a brony, and he didn't care. He just acted like a normal human.

Anyways, someone found out. Like a stupid 6th grader, they spread rumors, and the whole school new in a matter of like, 2 weeks.

Anyways, i'm in Gym now. I'm being bullied. Like HARSHLY. I was tormented, and everyone treats me different at school now. They call me"gay" because i like MLP. And i've made it clear to those boys "I'm not gay." and they don't care. In Gym, these fights drive me to tears and go on from when we enter the locker room and go back to change back. I have Gym last period, so i don't change.

Anyways, it's these annoying 8th and 7th graders that bully me. And, nobody in Gym cares my suffering. I've cried everyday in Gym at least once. I mean they tell me that little girls watch it and *, heck, one even said they were going to hurt the show's creator.

Some people know me, i'm extremely sensitive. So i shed a tear at almost all of these compliments.

Help me. Help me. I'm begging you. My mom telled the principal.

But still help me, and give me ideas to block these insults.

For one thing, don't let them get to you. Probably everyone has told you this, but in this sort of thing it'll probably be OK. Just hang around with your non-mlpfan friend more (but don't get to stalking him...) and imagine that your bullies are pizza (or say "get back! I have the dysentery!"). Incidentally, that cartoon also features pony fans, though of different kinds.

Seriously, though, the kind of person who thinks this makes a person gay or really cares at all isn't the kind of person you should listen to about anything and in fact they probably didn't think you would take it so badly (if they're joking). When they say they want to hurt the show's creator they are either joking or very very stupid.

Dude, I get called gay at least 3 times a day for no reason. My school doesn't care about bronies, and I'm in 7th grade. I even know quite a few people who are bronies. At home, my dad doesn't like me being a brony, he tells me to "man up and stop watching little girl shows". I'm not going to listen, because it's my life, and he can't tell me to stop watching a show. My sympathy does go out to you though, I'm sorry for you.

I don't know how sophisticated the bullies are in your area, but here in LA you say "It's my opinion" they'll take it as some form of challenge.

Everyone in my college knows, they call me gay I just laugh in their face, they try assault me I confuse them somehow then get away to tell someone.

Just stick with it, the school won't do anything about it apart from hold a day for anti-bullying (what does that actually do, by the way?) then for the rest of the year bullies are accepted. I watch ponies in my spare time at college and watching them not being able to touch me is sometimes more fun than the actual show, sometimes they'll try throw something at me then get in trouble for almost damaging the computer (an example of how you don't matter to the school) and I sit there and watch more ponies.

@Animeboy: I know you're sensitive and all, but really, the best way to go about it is to ignore them and hang out with other people who don't mind your liking of the show.

Actually, the true best way, imo, is to not be too open about it - I'm sure some few people are aware that I'm a brony, but as I never talk about it or wear shirts, etc. nobody can be sure and nobody talks to me about it.
