Er, is 1.4.3 out yet? Everyone's like "OMG STICKY ARROWS!!!ELEVEN!!!" but I still seem to be in 1.4.2.
The pre-release for 1.4.4 is out.
So is it like 1.9 where they're completely missing out on it and jumping to the next?
1.4.3 pre was very buggy.
Sticky arrows look fun.

I remember them in 1.8(I think), I remember shooting someone with a dispenser mini-gun setup thing and he looked like a hedgehog because this thing shot 10 arrows per second, it was amazing.
Glad we're having another bug fix update, I wonder how many bugs are added vs how many are fixed, seeming the last bug fix update brought 2x as many bugs as it fixed.

According to Jeb, 1.4.3 had too many bugs to release.

I have an awesome idea!
Emerald tools!
The never break, but it's speed or damage depends on it's durability. For example, and emerald sword, at little to no durability damage, does diamond level damage.
An emerald sword with 3/4 durability damage would only do iron sword sword damage.
One with no durability left (they never break) will do punching damage.
What do you think?

As in durability doesn't go beneath 1.
I think the idea is interesting, but not as vanilla minecraft.

Too unrealistic.

WHY DO PEOPLE THINK EMERALDS SHOULD BE SO OVERPOWERED? ;-;. If you make a world and you're near a village, it takes like 10 minutes to get a bunch of emeralds. They're easy to get. They should be only a little stronger than gold, if anything.

They're not diamonds, they're nowhere near diamonds, seeming I can easily get an emerald with 19 wheat having all emerald tools would be easy.
It was like this when obsidian came out, I know Notch isn't exactly the master at balancing (looking at the ~4 block knockback on arrows) but he still knows that mass produced items aren't meant to be powerful.

How would you decide what it starts on?

It wouldn't be TOO overpowered, with only iron or stone durability. That would quickly take down the damage....

But then it would just clog up your inventory once it got to 0. And just use diamond.

Villages. WHY DO PEOPLE FORGET ABOUT HOW EASY TO GET THEM IT IS ;-;. They should be stone strength, with gold durability, if any emerald tools/armor is added.
