DLL Reading Mod-IYOB or Geode-Import Your Own Blocks

Hello!
This collab is for the IYOB project, or Geode!

The goal is to make blocks by making DLLs (Data Link Libraries, more on that later) and executable files that run or are refrenced when a block is used. This allows for infinite (yes infinite, I mean it) block designs. Everything from Email blocks, to YouTube blocks, to file reference and robot programming, it is all conceptional in this new design. There is only one problem. DLLs and programs take a long time to make. Only two people cant come up with some good things to add, so we need help! There are lots of things needed, so there will be many positions (again, more on that later) to fill, but we need people to fill them. These don't even need to be special scratchers, they can be newcomers. You just have to have some knowledge on any one of the subjects below:

subjects:
DLL Making
Program making (PC Programs)
Scratch programming, and what could make it better/faster
Other Programming/scripting language knowledge, and how to implement it.
Encrypting
Specific functions, like networking, or File IO

Now, for some positions:
Manager-Nathanator1416j
Head Programmer/Owner-KaplooeyRaRa
Programmers(in Squeak)-need 2
Programmers(outside IYOB)-need 4
DLL Writers-need 5
Advisers- About 10 are needed, will help direct project

Now for DLLs...
DLLs are basically a library of terms that do certain things that programs can use. So if a programmer wanted to run a song file, but didn't know how to, he could get a dll that would do it for him. He would reference a name in the  dll, and maybe tell it some things, and then the dll would run the command the program told it to, using the input it gave. IYOB imports the commands in the dll and when the user uses the command in IYOB, it contacts the dll and runs the function. To write dlls, you can use a template in Visual Basic.NET or VC or VC# or VC++, as well as using some other programs, like the ones listed here.

Re: DLL Reading Mod-IYOB or Geode-Import Your Own Blocks

Please, we also need to find some useful blocks to create, like a thread block, so if you could give us ideas, that would be great!
