Is Gak becoming a meme now since the commercial aired so many times during The Crystal Empire? I've seen it mentioned on over 3 sites now by people who watched the premiere.

Looks like whoever paid for those commercials wants to get the bronies on their side.
I'm cool with that; Gak's pretty much an "all-ages" thing anyway.

That.... was a let-down.

I liked it, but I really do think that it all built up to nothing, Twilight just said "no, you take it" and that was it, I much preferred the ending to S2 to be honest, at least the villain actually spoke a bit then.

im not exactly an mlp fan but my friend is a brony to the grave and draws her versions of mlp all the time and her drawings inspire alot of my animal drawings

Seriously, people?

Watched Crystal Empire last night at 1:00 AM.    It was actually much better than I expected; I liked the songs and the moral of the story (overcoming your fears for others' good). Contrary to some of you, I liked the lack of Sombra because he was a lame villain from the start, anyway. 

Spike and Twi had some outstanding roles in the double episode, but the rest of the cast was a bit meh. Particularly Rarity and Pinkie, they never did anything unexpected.

Can't wait for this "Magic Duel" episode. Trixie :3

Someone needs to make a Gak parody of Love's in Bloom.

It's basically gyrobowls all over again. It's just a little joke; people will get over it soon enough. Lighten up. ^^

I liked the episode a lot. Personally I don't mind the way Sombra was handled; it made him more of an imposing force of evil rather than an actual character, which was okay here. The focus of the story was Twilight/Spike anyway. Spending time on Sombra like with the previous villain episodes would have taken away from that.
