I posted this on one of my own projects, and the censor caught it. Why?

What the? I don't know due, I just don't know. The censor does have some issues. ( it censors words like grapes and woodpecker) but I don't even know what you just typed.

But then wouldn't it be censored on the forums? There's a lot of words that are censored on the forums but aren't on the main site

Why would you even ever type that? really, I don't think it's a big issue because it's a bunch of random symbols. Who would ever need to type that?

There are also a bunch of words that are censored on the main site but not the forums.

I also looked at the censor list and couldn't see what was wrong with it. hmm

Yeah, I'm guessing it's the swastika in there (₪卐™©®)
Take that out and try again, it might work then.

soniku3; although the swastika is now tainted by the Nazi's use of it, it's a very old symbol that has many other meanings to it, which is probably why it exists in the symbols on a computer.

Correct. Now, the most common interpretation is as a symbol of hate though.

It certainly is. But is that what's causing it? jvvg said he didn't see it in the censor list. But i suppose the SVN might not always reflect what's on the server.

However, given that it shows pretty much every other bad word I've heard of (and a bunch of others), I think that that probably is what they have.

Yes, but sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry. There are a lot of very young users on this site, and they might use it without fully understanding its meaning, and upset someone.

I don't either, I just want to be able to know the full word list so in the rare event a comment gets censored badly, I know exactly why.

The german on is tilted to a 45 degree angle. Its hard to tell what one it is
