Tiki-Craft is a survival, no whitelist, non-pvp server with 1850+ players (who have ever joined, not who are regularly on), running on CraftBukkit. We haven't had any reports of lag since we got our new 24/7 server (apart from mass mob spawning and occasional plugin failures, but that's a different story), so I guess that counts as no lag! :3

Rank Information:

When you join, you will be the rank, 'Lonely Peasant.' When you type /trial and complete it (there is a maze, a parkour and a little quiz), you will be automatically (yes, automatically using command blocks) be promoted to an 'Average Joe.'

After being on the server for a month and being trustworthy, you will be promoted to a 'Trusted.' after 3 months of activeness on the server and 5 posts on the website, the 'Veteran' rank will be yours. Then, after 5 months and 15 posts on the website, you will achieve 'Elite.' See the ranks section on the website for the full requirements.

See the website for more details about ranks, including which commands each one gets. If you are a 'Veteran' or an 'Elite,' you can apply for the moderator position (only when positions are open!). Use the application template in the forums of our website.

Building Information:

You may have noticed the name is 'Tiki-Craft.' This was just a name we fancied; you don't have to build your creations in a Hawaiian theme, just build them how you like.

There is a warp list in spawn where you can warp to different biomes, towns, and other people's creations.

Don't ask for creative to build anything, if you put your mind to it, great things can be done in survival. Ask ripnburn, darkwrath505 or Kimboline if you don't believe me. 

Don't build right up next to someone's house (unless in spawn town or another town) as they wouldn't like it and you will both have limited mining space. Any inappropriate structure will be WorldEdited away and in most cases you will receive a ban.

Minigames:

At Tiki-Craft we have many games that we've created, or used a plugin for.

- MobArena - Fight mobs in custom built arenas with predefined classes and without the worry that you'll lose your stuff. Type /ma join [arena name] to join one.

- PvP Arena - We didn't use a PvP arena plugin for this, we kinda mixed Multiverse and WorldGuard for it. Type /warp pvp to go to the lobby, and from there choose an arena to play in, then from there a class to use.

- BattleMobs - KingShahShah's (Servine) awesome idea, consisting of arenas and spawn eggs. Throw creeper spawn eggs at your enemies and see them burn! Ask KingShahShah in game for more.

- Spleef - There isn't an official Spleef arena, although our very own Kimboline made one near her house for the public to use. Ask her for more info.

- Team Fortress 2 - Type /tf2 join, choose an arena, choose a class, then have your team fight the enemy over the control of flags.

- SkyBlock - SkyBlock is a challenge orinetated survival game. Type /island to join and you'll spawn on a small island, with only a tree and a chest to start you off. Expand your island to become an empire!

Dynmap is a great plugin, basically, in your browser, it shows a map of all the worlds on your server; you can go into 3D mode, cave mode or normal mode, and you can see other players as they go round the world. You can chat from dynmap too. Here's a link to ours: tiki-craft.publicvm.com:8111

Rules:

The rules are the same as the majority of other servers, but we like to just keep it down to 1 rule, use common sense. Don't do anything stupid and be good    This includes spamming, griefing, hacking and being disrespectful. As long as you don't do those thing's, you'll be fine.

Donating:

Donate to receive in game rewards! We aren't one of those 'donators get everything' servers, but they do get adequate rewards, as you can see from the image below. Tiki-Craft does cost quite a lot to run, so any donations we get are highly appreciated. If you are already a high rank, a veteran or elite etc, you do not have to change your rank to donator if you donate, but you will still be entered into the donator lottery.


The prefix colours have been changed; pink is for Donator++, purple is Donator+, and green is for Donator.
