Re: Presidential Election results

Happy reelection day.  smile

It's too bad that the debate thread became offensive, it would have been nice if the topic had stayed alive till today... Ah well.

Yes, it would have been nice to show that the community was capable of maintaining the thread without descending into flame, but oh well. Maybe 2016, if we're still here.  wink

Re: Presidential Election results

Romney is still disputing the assertion that Obama won Ohio. 90% reporting in Florida, with Obama up 50,000 and Obama up 22,000 in Virginia with 86% reporting. Elvis has left the building, gentlemen.

Re: Presidential Election results

I wonder why Alaska hasn't closed voting yet. If I'm not mistaken, they close at 9 PM Alaskan Time (1 AM Eastern) when the Continental US and Hawaii have closed.

I heard at least one airline had a promotion in which people would register what candidate they would vote for. If their chosen candidate didn't win, they would get a big discount on their flight.  tongue

Obama has had four years already, if people were going to move out because America was too good they would've done it by now. Also there are only in the area of 300 million people in the US.

I'm off for tonight. Screw Romney, he's an arrogant stuck up rich guy who thinks he can buy the position of president. Not conceding Ohio (and the election) when it is clearly gone and not creating a concession speech? Not the person who deserves to be president.

Anyhow, not to cause a flame war or require ST intervention, but my state is leaning towards legalizing same *ahem* gender marriage.

Mitt Romney's stupidity is annoying, that's probably why.

Ah, I see, well, for the record, I find Obama's stupidity pretty annoying.

Yeah. Take ObamaCare, for instance.

America is on the right track for the future, and so it's time for a celebration and an end to such stressful and intense politics for another four years, yay!

Re: Presidential Election results

Sorry folks - this really isn't working out at all.  I'm seeing way too many flamebait posts being made.  Rather then spend a lot of time baby-sitting this, I'm just going to close it.  Apparently emotions are running too high to discuss this in a civil fashion.
