Search Not Working in Firefox
Scratch's search is not working/very slow for me.
Is it a known bug?
System Specs:
Using Firefox 16.0.2
Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 32-bit
Hardware:
2GB Ram
Processor: AMD Athlon Neo Processor MV-40 1.60 GHz
Thinkpad_X100e
Is there anything wrong/ scratch's search doesn't work with above?

You may not have the latest version of flash. This will cause the Flash Scratch project player to run slowly/not run at all. If you are viewing projects in Java that is very slow anyway but I still recommend getting the latest Java player. If you have the latest Java and Flash player I can't help you.

Scratch's main site search function is a custom Google search, so whatever happens to the Google search website affects the Scratch search function. Does your current browser load the Google website slowly, or quickly?

Google loads slowly on my computer. Firefox, IE and Google Chromium all have the same problem. Didn't try opera yet., but it probably will be the same result.

Ah, that's it. If you have problems loading the main Google website, then you'll have trouble searching on Scratch as well. Since you have trouble loading Google on all your browsers, it's very likely that it is an internet connection issue on your end.

Ah, that's it. If you have problems loading the main Google website, then you'll have trouble searching on Scratch as well. Since you have trouble loading Google on all your browsers, it's very likely that it is an internet connection issue on your end.
Thank you for answering my question. It is probably a problem on my computer, as my other devices in the same network do work on google.
