I was thinking about making something like Zork, but I need a cool theme. Any ideas? I just need a basic storyline of what should happen in the long run; I can figure out the little details on my own.

A guy wakes up with a message to do X to get to a magical place called Y to retrieve Z and go back. When he returns, he wakes up and finds it was all a dream.

Mbd's idea for a dream is pretty good, like that P&F episode where Candace is in the Wizard of Oz.

Maybe, one day, you wake up, (omg shocking) and that night you go to a party. Everybody's having a great time. At this time, you have very little control over what you can do. You go into another room. It's empty. The door behind you slams shut.

The noise from the other room suddenly dies down as somebody screams "Party's over!" Everything's quiet. You now have control over yourself entirely. You look around the room and find a note. It reads,

"Distract and capture. MJ"

2 people enter the room through a secret passage way in the floor. You are an inventor and you have invented some device that can help them; they're bank robbers. You must find your way through secret passages, solve puzzles, and eventually turn the crooks in. But be careful, if they find out, you're in big trouble.

When you turn them in at the end, you figure out that the head of the police department is MJ... and then you wake up.

Is it ok?
