< turning into &lt;

Several days ago, I had made a post in the Help with Scripts forums and for some reason, the < was turning into &lt; and after some tests, I found that it happened visa versa.  hmm

Here's a snapshot:

Is this just me or is this happening to other people when reading my post?

Try putting the condition in <chevrons> instead of (parentheses).

I can't believe I did that.  yikes

And those are called chevrons? Interesting.
