Uhh, I'm homescholled, and I'm in a class and my teacher said that we get points for doing NaNoWriMo and so I'm doing it, and she said that for my grade, I can write anywhere between 7,000 words and 15,000 words. Plus this is my first year doing NaNoWriMo and I wanted to see how many I think I will be able to make. All you guys have probably been doing this for years and are experienced at meeting your goals. Besides, Mazdafreak's projected finish time was like February 2013! So don't complain that his goal is too low. I think some of you guy's's goals are too high!

i'm not trying to argue here-mazda's target is fine imo but i'm pretty sure it's most people's first go at this

Yep! Although I'm Making it sO it makes sense and fits in with the story

Yeah, well I did a basic plan (like, this is the climax, this the end) two days before NaNoWriMo started, then spent hours interviewing my characters. ^^

Well, I can't do 50,000 because I'm still 12 1/2. I might do 50,000 eventually, though.

I'm already 1/4th of the way through mine!

i'm 12 1/2 and i'm doing 50k
it's not because you're 12 1/2 it's because of other stuff

This is your first time?    I'd expect you'd have done this sort of thing before.

I've done it before, but through the YWP thing. My goal then was about 25,000--I actually made it a couple of times.

I'm only on 2000 words - I got some catching up to do 

5450 words.    Really have to catch up now.
