Gerard Way, to me, is one of the most inspirational people on this planet. To realise his own problems with alcohol and drugs, and become sober within 17 days, shows determination. He also started My Chemical Romance to inspire people to carry on, and to help them realise that there are "five just as messed up guys who had to overcome it to do what they do today, and so can anyone else."

2. Mikey Way, My Chemical Romance

Many people don't realise it, but Mikey also suffered from depression, and used alcohol to self medicate, before seeking help. He overcame his fears to play in the band, and that is something I really admire.
