R.I.P Mitch Lucker

Mitch Lucker, lead voclist for Suicide Silence, died this morning after crashing his motorbike.  I'm not a big fan of the band, I don't really like anything heavier than metalcore, but this is really sad. D: My thoughts go out to his family and his daughter Kenadee.

Re: R.I.P Mitch Lucker

This is about "Things I'm Reading and Playing". I was listening to You Only Live Once when I found this out.
Do I have to post about everyone who dies everywhere I go?  I posted about Hurricane Sandy on Facebook, and about Mitch Lucker here.
So please don't imply that by posting about one person dying I show disrespect to everyone who died in Hurricane Sandy.

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Does that matter if you didn't know who he is? He made a difference to some peoples lives, so some respect please?

well if I remember correctly, you were pretty upset about Steve Jobs' death.
this guy meant a lot to some people, including me. respect that.

I don't think you understand my point. We shouldn't get sad over someone we know of dying just because they're well known.

And almost everyone has made a difference to peoples' lives. I find it annoying when people that it's sad that someone has died, since yes it's sad but no more sad than everyone else in the world dying right now.

then you're wrong. i don't care really that he's dead. you're probably confusing me with someone.

okay then, sorry, must've confused you with someone else. while you have a point in saying that his death is no more important than anybody elses, that doesn't mean that it isn't important to some people. to me for example, he was an artist whose music i liked and learnt from, and its only natural that i'm upset with his death. why does anybody's death matter if its no more important that anybody else's? its because its more important to the people who cared about the said person dying.

I'm not just sad over his death, I'm sad over many others. Mitch was a hero to many of his fans.
Like seriously, this is kinda random, but this world is messed up ;-;
