Re: CompCollab

Sure. Do you want just my part or ours together?

It'll take longer for both.

Okay I got just my part, I think we should work on it first as it goes first in the song.

The intro might need a bit work. The bridge does (m. 5-8). From measure 9 on is melody 1. I don't have a flute, clarinet, or glockenspiel part yet for melody 1. Perhaps you can work on it?

Wow, I really like it! The complicated drums really make it sound cool. I'm not used to composing with key signatures like yours, or using notes that aren't in the key's scale (I've never taken any music theory classes) but I'll see what I can do sometime.

If you want, I can teach you basic music theory, but I guess for now transpose it to C Major just to work with it. C major is 8 half steps below Ab major so just copy the melody, perhaps open a new document, paste it, and press down 8 times. Then you can compose the harmony from there.

Re: CompCollab

That's what I do sometimes, but I can still compose in different key signatures. It's just a little more confusing. I'll start working on it.

Re: CompCollab

I haven't found any time to work on it, sorry. I'll try to as soon as I find time.

It's okay, take as much time as you need. I'm quite busy too.

Re: CompCollab

I'm so sorry, I've left scratch and completely forgotten about this topic. I don't know if I can finish.
