The difference between Vector and Bitmap graphics:

Simply put, A vector image can be infinitely resized, but a Bitmap image will become pixely.

For example

A Camera takes a image that gets pixely when zoomed in on, so it is a bitmap image.

Most fonts can be infinitely resized, meaning they are vectors.
