It's actually a site for uploading projects made in mods, not the mods themselves, but yeah.

The reason why GP1 and I disbanded Mod Play is because Mod share IV basically filled all that we wanted from Mod Play:  it's open source, has larger upload sizes now, will soon have an API for various things, and a java player is being worked on for individual mods.

I  have to say, though, that your idea of a "Mod Forge" is a good one.  I do have the old mod play WIP code, but, in my opinion, you'd be better off using Mod Share's code, and building off of that.

well you can't embed squeak thats why they haven't done it.
