The Ultimate Challenges Competitions- Can you be the best?
INTRODUCTION
I am deciding to run some competitions based around my city building game. There are a variety of challenges so that there is one for almost every scratcher.
UPLOADING
1. Create your city!
2. Click 'save' in free mode, then go grab a drink or a snack as saving can take up to 6 minutes.
3. Press SPACE when it has saved, and the project will automatically stop for you. This also stops the variables sticking to the top left corner of the screen.
4. Now, upload the project itself.
5. Make sure in the project notes you say it's for a city designing competition and that you did not create the game yourself.
THE CHALLENGES
THE GAME WAS UPDATED ON OCTOBER 23RD 2012.
Road Phenomenon
Build a city with a really interesting road or avenue design! Whether it's a cool shape, pattern or even based off a real city, upload a city with an interesting infrastructure. This also includes the locations of buildings, scenery and more!
Super Smart
Build a city with the best possible education levels, lowest pollution levels, and the city with the highest population and revenue will win!
Sardines
Cramp as many people as possible into your city! As long as none of the factors are below their minimum points your city can compete:
+Traffic <200%
+Health- Mediocre
+Pollution- Moderate
+Intelligence- Poor
+Fire- Poor
+Crime- Poor
+Power SUPPLIED
+Water SUPPLIED
+Garbage <200%
+Profit- Break Even
MEGA Resort
See who can get the most tourists! Remember to keep both interest and capacity roughly balanced, the lowest number will be the deciding factor! So, if you have a capacity for 10000 tourists, but only 7000 are interested, then only 7000 will actually visit your city and that's the number which I'll count.

I am aiming for Mega-Resort, but first I will attempt to gain an 8000 a month income. That way I can afford it, or I will leave it running for a day then come back in 3865 before starting my resort. Anyway, you should add a script that will tell you when someone changes the money with cheats or going to the variables, and while it will not be foolproof all you need to do is Forever, if not day equals End of month (when you get payed) and Cash is higher than Cheat Notifier (the cheat notifier will be a variable that, at the start of every day, sets itself to your Cash), set Cheat Notifier to CHEAT. You should also add a time limit, say, do it before 2200, as it is possible to just leave it running for a day and gain almost unlimited funds.

the variables only change after you've exited view mode, except on-going variables such as time and cash. the others don't need to bother to update, but i programmed the other variables to update anyway as a backup. so, basically you only need to check after you've quit build mode (presuming you've changed something!)

well, firstly go to view mode and click save. go down, get a drink whilst you wait. then, once it's at 100% and view mode is back on exit full screen, press SPACE and shutdown scratch, making sure that you save the project.

i think I'll have to cancel the contests if I don't get enough contestants by this Sunday.
