It did. Apple slaped in the A6x processor and the Lightning connector and called it the "new generation." TBH this should've been made a less significant upgrade, like the iPad 3S or something. Maybe 3L for "lightning". It really didn't deserve to be announced to fanfare at the event.

The only new things that people notice on the iPhone 5 is: it's bigger and it has a new dock.

That's all that the majority of Apple fans (stupid hipsters) care about, but there is also a blazingly fast new processor, LTE, better camera, etc.

Also, yeah, there kind of is a big difference between the iPad (full size) and a 7 inch tablet like the Nexus 7. The iPad Mini isn't Apple's new product to take the world with, it's them playing catch-up because they don't have anything in the cheap, small tablet range.

I don't think you and other people really get it; the iPad Mini isn't supposed to be revolutionary or have a ton of new features; it's to have a cheaper option for people who don't want to or can't afford the "full" version. You shouldn't care that it's an inch smaller, and there isn't anything different, it's about the price!! (I hope that's the last time I ever double exclamation-mark something  )

There's no reason to use iTunes to buy music when Amazon is cheaper at the same bitrate, DRM-free. (I've heard that iTunes is DRM-free as well, but I'm not sure, some articles I've read as recently as 2011 have talked about the FairPlay DRM. Ironic name, really)
Still, for a player, I'd say it does about as good a job as any, far better than Windows Media Player and a great experience if you have a Mac or an iOS device.

Yeah, but the iPad 4 doesn't really that great. The only thing I like about the constant Apple hardware releases is that the older generations get cheaper.

Were they talking about the iPad 4? Not that I can see. Anyway, progress is progress. It has a faster A6x processor and a lightning port. If you're buying an iPad, this is a great bonus. If you already have an iPad 3, don't bother. Is there anything wrong with the yearly refreshes of updating the Macs to the newest, most powerful Intel CPUs?

Besides, why are you quoting me when I was talking about the iPad Mini? It's like everything is being used against me. 

But..why buy an ipad mini what will be the problem of carrying a 9.1 inch tablet.If you buy the iPad Mini the only new things that are new are better wifi.If you don't have enough money ,go ahead buy the iPad Mini but if you already have an iPad or don't have an iPad, and want to buy an iPad mini but has money to pay the iPad. buy the iPad

Im not against apple I love apple but ipad 4 should have been released in 2013 or 2014.

If it's meant for people who "can't afford the full thing" why can't they just buy a Kindle Fire or something? I don't know about you, but I prefer my Kindle Fire to my friend's iPad.
