Thanks! But you don't approve? It doesn't have your tag.

Woops!  Optimus Prime Approves!

Yay!

Re: Starscream's Reviews

Dsteenson, here is yours:

Fun-ness: 9.5/10
Sprite qulity: 5/10
Objective clarity/logic: 9/10
Other comments: Very original, and I loved it!  Optimus Prime approves!  I would work on sprite quality and the backgrounds; maybe you could tweak a default character?  I did that, and I turned a prince into a telemarketer.  Or, make a more human like character, something of the sort. For the background, I would add to it, specifically in the first island.  I particularly liked the handbook; very creative!  Great job, and keep up the good work!

Re: Starscream's Reviews

Okay, Willpower.  Here's Light the Pumpkins:
Fun-ness: 8/10
Sprite quality: 8/10
Objective clarity/logic: 10/10
Other comments: Nice!  It is very original, and a lot of fun.  Some suggestions: easy, medium and hard modes; the pumpkins stay lit longer and the cat moves faster in easy, and vice versa for hard.  Music!  I think it would be a lot more enjoyable with music and sound effects.  Very nice job, and keep up the good work!  Optimus Prime approves!

Re: Starscream's Reviews

For the second one:
Fun-ness: 9/10
Sprite quality: 8/10
Objective clarity and logic: 10/10
Other comments: Very nice!  A great variation of the default Pong game.  Som suggestions: a different color scheme.  It doesn't seem to be appealing, I think a different background color would change it significantly.  Music; again, I should think it would be a lot more enjoyable with music and different sound effects.  It would also be a bit better if the ball speed was increased slightly.  Lastly, a "GAME OVER" screen instead of just coming to a halt; it enhances the gameplay.  Overall, it's a great project, and Optimus Prime approves!

Re: Starscream's Reviews

For your third:
Fun-ness: 8/10
Sprite quality: 10/10
Objective clarity/logic: 9/10
Other comments: It was nice, but a bit glitchy.  When it ended, the ball and the block continued.  I would have it either a) go off the screen (I know how much of a problem the stop block is), or b) change to a less noticeable costume.  The game over screen could be a different color and game over could be a bit more noticeable.  Again, I would strongly suggest adding music; something fast-paced would work nicely.  A replay button at the end could also enhance gameplay.  When these glitches are fixed, I think it would be a very enjoyable game.  smile

Hey starscream,

This is a test for my new game.  It's unfinished, but you can jump around.  It's got platforms and gravity.  I may even turn it into super mario bros after I finish Wingman.  Here's the link.

Re: Starscream's Reviews

Okay, Dsteenson.  I will only judge on scripting, etc. since it would be unfair to base on anything else:

It is very nice (and I will say I was never good at games.  My first project shows that very well!  tongue ).  Since it looks like the player has wings, it makes sense that he is gliding.   I see you got the platform scripts.  Oh, quickly, music and a different background would help a great deal.

Tell me when you finish, and I will be very happy to review it for you!
