Daft Punk

I couldn't see a thread for them. We have Skrillex, we have Deadmua5, but Daft Punk? Nope.

Personal favorites:
One More Time
Harder Better Faster

Why yes, they are in my sig.

Electronic. They don't sound the same, but that's what they are.

I hope it's more like Homework, not anything like Discovery, which was a bunch of loops.

Daft Punk is pretty cool.
I like Robot Rock and Harder Better Faster. Not to mention the TRON: Legacy soundtrack.

Re: Daft Punk

I recently listened to Daft Punk's "Discovery" album. It was really good. Do you think their new album will have some dubstep influences?

I doubt it. They are more house than dubstep.

No, the song Human After All. Which was the best of Human After All, but Homework is the best.

You should really preface statements like that with "In my opinion..."

Robot Rock was better.

It's funny how this topic just ended up being a (minor) flame war.

This isn't a flame war. A flame war is where it gets reduced to insults like "NO UR STUPID AND EVERYTHING YOU SAID IS WRONG AND YOUR OPINON DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING BLAH BLAH BLAH RANT RANT RANT"

We were just having a little lighthearted discussion about which Daft Punk album we prefer more (that's how I perceived it anyway)

That is precisely why I put (minor).  tongue

Anyway Alive 2007 is my fav, the reason I didn't say that before is because I thought it may not be a "legit" album, since none of the songs are original mixes.
