It is a racing game simulation based on my F1 2011 The game http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/prokohtu/2111730 It will feature all the new for 2012 tracks. Other additions include a better physics engine, some minor graphic improvements and a brand new main menu with a much better design. Until it's ready, you can play the 2011 version. I'm planning to release the mod on Sunday, 7.10.2012

The game is good, but you go too fast; you should slow down how much you move by. Also, most tracks have graphical errors(spain is bad) meaning it is impossible to complete. Also, make a drastic max speed reduction when on grass.
What is great about the game though is the content, you have so many tracks and teams so obviously you will need to improve

thanks for telling me about spain, i will fix it now. but the other minor graphical errors are really tough to fix
and if you download, the speed of the game is notably better
something else-the max speed on grass in the real world is the same, accelaration(or grip) is much worse

Ok, when I mentioned speed I didn't mean how fast the game ran, I meant that the speed/size of the car didn't seem proportionate to the track. You can clear the main straight in a second or two.
The second thing is that in real life there is much less speed on grass. The car will struggle for traction and downforce, compounded by the fact that the wings are bouncing up and down more, not to mention blades of grass. It makes running off the track a big penalty, something not in your game.

i know about the track, but if you download you'll see that each circuir is made of 9 sprites, each at 150% size. If I had to make it better, they should have been 16 or 25, and that would be an insane amount of work(and size). As for the grass, you can accelerate up to say 300kph then turn a bit to the grass and then come back. Almost nothing will happen, except for the tires getting covered in grass(i've tried it on Codemasters' F1 2012)
But if you veer off the track at a corner it really is a bad mistake. I wanted to incorporate slipping in the game, but didn't think of a way. This would punnish you really badly.

You don't need to increase the size of the map, just make the car slower. Also, when you go onto the grass you decrease speed, your just going really fast already. Another thing is that you don't have any gravel traps, that slow you down enormously and can get you beached. I think if you had some system to gradually decrease speed when on grass, rather than instantly would work, with the max speed being 1/4 and you being able to turn less and less the longer you stay on, until you turn 1/2 as well

thanks, i reduced grass and gravel speed, and also cut car speed in half, it's much better now. you were right that i don't need to increase the map size
