say you delete a few sprites, but then you want them back. how are you going to get them back without either clicking an "undo" button a few times or having to redraw and rescript them all over again? That's why I never delete sprites unless I'm absolutely sure I won't need them.
Still, I think an undo or undelete button is completely necessary. (Not everyone knows that you should never delete sprites unless you're absolutely sure you won't need them.)

So you've never ever accidentally deleted two wrong sprites? You've never put a block in the beginning of a wrong stack and had to take off the whole thing, which froze Scratch, then had to take out the block and put it back?
Plus I'm pretty sure most major actual code editors have Ctrl-Z enabled, or at least Notepad++ does.

Let's stop the trolling, and listen to kayybee.

Actually, I haven't. I don't delete two wrong sprites (my programs are mainly 1s1s), and my stacks are at most 1 page long, which never frezes.

again, just because youre careful doesnt mean everyone else is
you cant argue against an idea like this one based on what you do alone

I don't remember that, but i know there are undo/redo button interfaces in the alpha right now.

I can't seem to find it.

I think that there should be an undo button, because a lot of times my brother messes up my projects and if I could get all of my sprites and/or my scripts with one button it would really help so I agree with dave1998.

Suggest that in another thread. That is offtopic.

Old topic was kind of small, better to merge in this case.

The one thing I hate in forums is merging: Its hard to tell which thread was where.
PS. I thought no-one could move posts?

Yes, I support for deleted scripts. I sometimes delete a script that I meant to duplicate, and if it's areally long script, it's annoying to make again.

Perhaps a "trash can", like in windows?

Or a recycle bin.

I support this as errors happen and they are sometimes hard to fix.
Also, there can be a button to undo only a specific sprite.
e.g.:Undo changes to this sprite [10] times
