Scroll Y problem
Hi guys. I'm having problems with going through the black bars, if any experts can help that would be brilliant. Also, if anyone can give me a simplified version of Scroll Y.

scroll y is basically the same thing as scroll x just at the y position. unlike change y changing it by a positive number makes the screen scroll down and changing it by a negative number makes the screen scroll up.

Scrolling in general is basically instead of change the sprite x and y values, you change the scroll x and y values and then put your character in the center of the screen and then have everything else move relative to the scroll x and y. As for the sensing, I think I answered that here.
There are a lot of tutorials/example scripts here as well.
