Does anyone have a book to recommend for me?

Anyone? I'll list some ones I've already read:
The inheritance cycle
Percy Jackson series ( I never remember the name of it)
Artemis Fowl series
The last Dragon Chronicles
Ender's Game
The first two and a half books in A song of Ice and Fire
Sherlock Holmes
Hunger Games
Kane Chronicles
Diary of a wimpy kid
FableHaven
Harry Potter, although I never finished the series and sort of read them in a random order. But they are next on my list!
Warriors
Gunnerkrigg court
Amulet
Maximum Ride
Lord of the flies
Money Hungry

(I might remember more)

Please leave some recommmendations for me!  wink

You seem to enjoy modern novels. Try the Redwall series.  wink

The Lord of the Rings, one of the many compilations of Sherlock Holmes stories, and Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.  If you have some weird phobia of books published before 1900, maybe Inkheart.

Ink heart and Sherlock Holmes are very good books. If you like action I recommend CHERUB series.

I was about to scream Ender's Game, but then I saw your list.  tongue

I highly recommend The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's goofy, funny, and overall a great read. One of the best science fiction novels ever written.

Anything by Terry Pratchett, except for maybe Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic. All his books are brilliant but those can be pretty confusing and are really different from the other ones.

Your WIFE and you?

What are you, like 30?

Not that that's a bad thing, just. I didn't think you were that old.

Unless it was an old Misc joke I missed while I was inactive.

WHOA, never thought we'd find people that old. For some weird reason, whenever I see Dazachi's username, I always keep thinking that he's in his 60s or so....

Anyways, my preference: you should read Bridge to Terabithia; it's an awesome book.

I really wanted to read Mort and Small Gods  yikes
and also the other ones

So far my favorites are The Truth and Making Money (haven't read Going Postal yet  hmm )

Actually another one not to read first - Snuff. This was the only one I've read so far I didn't really like. Willikins is awkward and there are tons of overly long monologues. Plus I kind of lost track of the plot (whereas in Color of Magic and The Light Fantastic there's no real plot at all  tongue ).

I'm not a fan of the Sam Vimes series! It's a bit hard to get through with me!
Mort is really good! I'm not sure about Small Gods yet but when I find it I'll tell you

Re: Does anyone have a book to recommend for me?

If you've never read the Harry Potter series, drop what you're doing and go read that right now.

If you enjoyed the Percy Jackson series, you should read the Cane Chronicles. It's by the same author.
