True.
Indirectly created ~4M jobs.
I can semi agree and disagree with this statement.
Added ~4tril. to national debt.
Don't know what that is.

True.
For me, that's a net plus over Gov. Romney.
Tax cuts, esp. on wealthy
Massachusetts debt reduction
Military spending bumps

So, he has not done anything AMAZING, correct?
He hasn't done anything amazingly well, but Romney has done some things amazingly bad.

Yeah, I am not a big fan of Romney.

Having our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan doesn't help our national security at all. Sure, we took out Bin Laden, but what we need to do is prevent people from getting onto a plane with weapons in the first place.

having a war over something that no one knows is more a threat to security then taking troops to iraq or whatever. they don't have wmd and the workd wouldn't be prepared to take them on if they had, as seen with north korea
@Claude_Monet that's utterly bigoted turning obama's win into nothing more then 'oh he's black let's vote for him!!!11!!!one!'
if you can provide stats for that i'd be happy to back down but until you do that's a very hateful thing to say. the majority of people do vote based on policies. it's a small but vocal minority that don't

Yes, but boots on the ground isn't the right way to do it. More positive foreign aid and other peaceful measures to prevent terrorists from ever getting guns or wanting to be terrorists in the first place prove far better.

Obama's policies literally reversed the recession, to where the net job gain is about 125,000 jobs.

National debt - ~$16tril of loans and trade deficit that the United States owes
Auto industry - The United States bought GM and reformed it into being profitable and actually gained money in the end
Guantanamo Bay prison - Indefinite area that holds terrorists and allows some forms of torture.
Reformed healthcare.
How? (Just wondering)
Obamacare saved money, improved efficiency and extended coverage.
Argh, not enough time to explain the rest

People say that he hasn't done anything amazingly well, but I would say that the Affordable Care Act was a pretty amazing thing. It would be even better if Republicans hadn't blocked the public option.

What's so great about Obamacare?
Is the only reason people think it's so great, is because it's cheap?

It's because it doesn't ignore PECs
google pre-existing conditions

And it also ensures that every American has health insurance that will actually cover costs (and not dump your claims) so that the system works better. See, many people attack the bill, yet approve of the piece-by-piece description of the bill. Most people (even voters who think the bill is socialist) don't actually understand what it is.

there's a thing called privatisation
at the moment america is pretty much entirely privatised. it's the playground of big corporations (the uk is too but that's a story for another day).
the bigger the corporation the more sway it holds over the government.
it is in essence the perfect capitalist system. however some people don't like that. they think the government should be offering ways apart from the privatised
i believe america had some small version of this before, but it was paid for by insurers?
anyway so obama set out to change that
and he did!! it's almost a public system, but definitely a better system!

I heard it was, but I'm not sure. Is there another VP debate?

No it was for the other parties that were unfairly excluded by the CPD. I think that Gary Johnson & Rocky Anderson are the better ones then Obama or Romney in my opinion.

We live in two-party system, so anyone who's not a Democrat or Republican has no chance for most offices (except some local ones that are non-partisan or occasionally for Senate or House, but never President).
To use an old quote, "A vote not for a Democrat or Republican is a vote wasted".

the whole "it's a good thing" is opinionated.
Canada as a similar government-funded health care system, and while everyone gets free health care, there are limitations and ridiculous wait times. Also, the HSS Mandate forces religious institutions to pay for the killing of babies, which violates the first amendment.
So on one hand:
-Everyone has health care.
-Everyone gets it for free.
Other hand:
-Heavier taxes to fund.
-Tax increases starting up in a few years.
-Violates 1st amendment.
-Wait times will get really bad.
Now, this is my opinion, but it seems like the cons outweigh the pros.

how does it violate free speech? and i'm always really suprised at republican policies when you start talking about welfare
it always seems like you want them to die because they weren't born rich

A vote is used to tell the government what you think should happen.
So if you like a libertarian, voting for him would be using your vote to it's potential, while if you vote for some guy you really don't like, you're wasting your vote.

I don't quite think you understood what I was saying. The quote means that you are wasting your vote if not voting for a Democrat or Republican, because they have essentially zero chance at winning President.
