Is there any way to be able to copy text from within a scratch project on the scratch website?

you can copy an item in a list if you're viewing on the flash player.

What do you mean, like copy-paste? You can highlight the text you want to copy then press ctrl+c to copy and ctrl+v to paste (I'm not sure how you would for Mac though)

You can't copy and paste text from a sprite costume if that's what you mean.

And Mokat, c&p on a mac is cmd+c & cmd+v. tongue

Yes, I mean copy-paste. I need to be able to copy lines of text from off a scratch project.

I need to know what text can be copied in scratch because I have seen anything. I know you can copy one item from a list but I need to need to copy several hundred items.

I'm making a game that can save, I've got the saving part worked out well but my trouble is the loading aspect. In order to load you need to be able to paste in all the hundreds of number sets from a list into an answer block.

But I don't know where I can make it so a person can simply copy the list which holds are their gaming information (there's no way they could type in the numbers). Once they are able to copy all the items in the list they will be able to paste it in a microsoft word which will save all the save data and so they can come back to microsoft word and copy the information again and paste the data into the answer, thus retrieving their game. Sorry for not being clear enough.

If you combined the data into one variable,them it could be copy & passed very easily.

That's my suggestion.

Download and export the list
