Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

In my opinion, Murray Gold is one of the only two or three (not quite sure about the third) person in history to truly capture the essence of an entity and perfectly encase it in a piece of music.

Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

Never seen this show, but a friend of mine loves it. I only know about the creepy stuff.

Weeping Angels (I always accidentally call them fallen angels)
The shadows
And other things

Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

Sorry if I'm an idiot, but did the drumming that the Master have any significance/reason, or was that just insanity, or some aftereffect of looking into the Untempted Schism, or what?  Also, can I be told without spoilers (the last episode I saw was The Doctor's Daughter)?  If I can't be told without spoilers, which season/series is it revealed in?

Just in case, last of 2010 specials.

Re: Doctor Who Official Thread

So apparently this is a really good show.

Unfortunately, I have never watched it.

I have no TV.

Is there anywhere I can watch it online? And what episode should I start watching on?

This is a temporary signature. It will exist until I think of something witty.

Look up 'doctor who world war three' (don't change the 'three' to '3') and click on the first 'Videos' link.  It's got most if not all of the episodes (if it is missing any, they're the ones that just came out [I'm too lazy to look up what the most recent episode was]).  I suggest first watching Blink, and then starting with Series 3.

Although you might want to start off with some knowledge about things like regeneration and possibly Torchwood if you watch Series 3 first (was Torchwood ever explained in the revived series?) if you start on Series 3.  Could someone else summarize the stuff (I don't know it well enough)?

Torchwood was created in the revived series. It first appeared in the finale of series 2 (and was referenced during that series).

Torchwood is like Dr. Who for adults only.

If you live in the United Kingdom, then you can watch it via. iPlayer, if not, I don't know.

I live in the united states. But that doesn't stop my sister from watching it online. She found all of season 7 online so she could watch them whenever she wants! Also, if you have netflix, they have seasons 1-6 on instant play.
