Scratch program menus (File, Edit, etc) are blank
Please help solve this weird error. In this screen shot, that little pill-shaped thing underneath the word "File" is what appears when they click on the File menu. All of the commands are missing.

Also notice that the boxes where you should put numbers (like "go to x:__ y:__") only show a little white line.

Compared to http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/File:Disappearing_Text_Bug.png this seems like the opposite problem. The program display and the list of sprites are fine, but the menus are broken.

No,they are quite similar in that text has disappeared.

Hmm. I appreciate that you're trying to help, but the GUI menus and the output rendering are very different parts of the program.
I think this "Disappearing Text Bug" is actually several separate problems that are being confused together. It's like thinking that bee stings, chicken pox, and acne are all "Red Bumps Sickness".
