Looking for Feedback

Hey guys! I just finished a first draft of my project and was wondering if you guys had any thoughts or suggestions. I know it looks simple, but as you guys can probably relate it took me a while to get everything running smoothly (and I still have work to do).

Anyway, here it is:

Now with a non-functioning Pause Button! Press Q! Yay!

Apart from that it looks amazing! I look forward to when it is completed. Do you plan to add punches and stuff?

I think your pause problem is when you push pause it does not add 1 to the "paused" variable but I only had a quick look so i could be wrong

Re: Looking for Feedback

Haha thank you Willpower. I do plan to add punches. Now that I worked out how to get (mostly) smooth animation I can use the same technique for other animations like punches. However, I still need to work out how to keep Alex (the character's name) frozen when both left and right are pressed simultaneously.

And, I still haven't worked out how to do pause quite yet. And definitely not while the "Pause" color effect is running.
