I think that a tax plan that will hurt the economy and a desire to start more middle eastern wars is a pretty good argument against a candidate, and that isn't even including topics like marriage equality and so on.

Edit: 4444th post  big_smile

That's a cool story there bro.
I was just to lazy to research on this, it was a little late :B
http://www.mittromney.com/issues/spending
Here's one that talks about spending according to the governer.
http://www.mittromney.com/JobsPlan?gcli … nAodEXsApw
Here's one that talks about tax cuts and job increase.

For me choosing a candidate, it really comes down to Democrats lie outside most of my moral beliefs, and also that Obama's HSS Mandate forces companies to fund abortion, even if it is against their moral values, essentially breaking the right to religious freedom.

Ohgosh
who designed that

the bookmark tag thing at the top D:

aside from that, this topic has gotten out of hand and I'm too lazy to form any more opinions

Ok.
Another interesting statistic: generally between 50% and 70% of registered voters vote in any given presidential election.

Interesting.
My Social Studies teacher always tells us that when we're old enough to vote, we should always vote because then you at least have some say in the outcome.

Yeah, I agree with that. I guess not everybody has your teacher.  tongue

I also predict that it will probably be at least 70% this election (although I might be wrong).

America needs jobs.

For 42 straight months, unemployment has remained over 8%.(*1)

Rather than working to rebuild our economy, Obama has been waiting for "somebody else" to do it.

Maybe that's why it has been 192 days since Obama has met with his Jobs Council.(*4)

Or maybe that's why he has more time to attend more than 100 political fundraisers and play more than 10 rounds of golf.(*5)

Mitt Romney is a businessman who knows that people build businesses through hard work and innovation.

Romney knows this because he has lived it - helping entrepreneurs start companies like Staples and Bright Horizons.

On day one, Mitt Romney will put job creation first to get America working.

Romney has a plan that will create jobs, grow the economy, and help the middle class.

Lower tax rates across the board
Expand domestic energy production
Stand up to China's unfair trade practices
Repeal and replace Obamacare with market-based, patient-centered reforms that work.

Americans do build businesses on their own, and they deserve a president who believes that, too.

"If you've got that quote, he didn't say that!"  tongue

If you listened to the whole thing (or even a few more seconds on each end of the clip), it was pretty clear that Obama was referring to public resources such as roads, not your business. So, then Romney had the brilliant idea of basing half of the Republican convention on something Obama DIDN'T ACTUALLY SAY!

I hope he stops the act before the taxes on it take effect. I mean, the act was considered constitutional as a tax. Obama just passed a tax and all the Democrats are like, "woohoo, yeah, woohoo, this will barely even affect our life directly too much but we still love it because Obama told us it's good!"

And also the mandate will probably murder more babies :'(

I don't even know what to say here. If you have insurance or can't afford health insurance, you will not be taxed. By choosing not to have insurance, you will be taxed to cover uninsured Americans such as yourself, just like how high taxes on tobacco go to fund cancer research.
As for "murdering babies," I am not going to comment.

Sure it might be biased but no one knows Romney's plan better than Romney so how do you know it's lying?

Just because he knows his plan (decrease taxes and increase spending) doesn't mean that he actually will carry it out or is telling the truth about it.

And, if he wants the reputation for helping start businesses, he really should address the fact that he also bankrupted a bunch of businesses. Or is that another one of the things he's going to intentionally ignore?

I also like how Romney thinks that healthcare for all Americans is bad. The Affordable Care Act has brought healthcare to lots of Americans who need it. Romney's idea? Just repeal it, so people lose their health insurance. Great idea, isn't it? Isn't it such a great idea to take healthcare away from a bunch of people who just got it?

I hope he stops the act before the taxes on it take effect. I mean, the act was considered constitutional as a tax. Obama just passed a tax and all the Democrats are like, "woohoo, yeah, woohoo, this will barely even affect our life directly too much but we still love it because Obama told us it's good!"

And also the mandate will probably murder more babies :'(

Abortion is just as much baby murdering as not having babies.

It's very possible you're just too young, unless I've underestimated your age. But that is an actual sexual preference called asexuality.

I'm about 14 years old.

Wow, I always assumed you were older.

I always assumed you were younger.

By definition, a fetus/embryo is not a baby.  Please refrain from inflammatory and inaccurate language.  It doesn't clarify anything or add to the discussion.  Furthermore, Democrats don't blindly follow Obama (remember the reaction when Obama extended the Bush tax cuts?).  Finally, there are plenty of democrats around me who disagree with the Affordable Care Act, and I've even met a few Republicans who don't think it was such a bad idea.

Interesting.
My Social Studies teacher always tells us that when we're old enough to vote, we should always vote because then you at least have some say in the outcome.

In my opinion, if you have no understanding of political events, you probably should either take the time to educate yourself or refrain from voting.

Whenever you vote, you are (partially) subjecting the country to your judgement; you're claiming that you're confident the country will do better under the rule of whichever candidate you're voting for.  You are partially responsible for the actions of whichever candidate you vote for and the results of their acts.  Don't subject Americans to your ignorance.

Oh, and it bears mentioning that I'm not saying you shouldn't vote or trying to sound condescending, particularly as I will not be voting in this election.  I appolagize ahead of time if I gave the wrong impression.
