   This is Scratch University. Enroll to learn more about scratch, MIT and more! Sign up for your own courses like Collaboration, Programming, Design, and plenty others. Take quizzes so your teachers can recognize your strengths and weaknesses and most of all… help!

   Here at the Scratch University we will first give you a quiz to see if you qualify. Best part is that there are no requirements saying you must be a full scratcher to be a student (But must be one for the teacher position)! If you qualify then you can start deciding your classes. There are so many classes that at least one will fit your personal interests. However, you must have the educational classes and one Internship class. The internship classes are where your teacher will set you up with a collab to help (*Note: you have no say in which collab. The teacher will assign you it according to your strengths and weaknesses) Once you have picked your classes, you can go straight to learning. Over the course of the week you should know a lot about the topics that you chose for your classes. At the end you will have a final test. If you pass, then you will get a “Scratch Degree.” Good luck!

Ill join as maybe a Programming Maths and Physics teacher (that is one job btw - it is showing how to come up with realistic formulae in coding).

Edit: I may also do some general coding.

Its not copying. He/she closed it, and this person is expressing their like of the idea by continuing it. Besides, the person stated that they were inspired by cat's original topic.

I'll be an Art teacher, specifically Pixel Art. Am I allowed to come up with my own course?

Once an idea is out, it's out.  And on Scratch, it's not copyrighted.  Anyone can use it.  CatPerson herserf used Borrego's idea, but he didn't get mad.  He just shut down because it was disorganized.

FYI: I had no idea Borrego even had that idea. Stop spreading rumors. Second of all, I was just a little mad they didnt ask me first. Ill join even! I just didnt like wiimaster barging in and trying to change the collab to be 1,000,000,000,000x more complex   

Anyways, I would like to join If I could teach an internship class. I was really pumped about that

You have some serious attitude. You are blowing things out of proportion and acting like everyone is out to get you! Firedrake was not 'spreading rumors', he was stating a FACT. Firedrake, ahirbhairav and my intentions are not bad! We mean well when we do what we've done.
I liked your idea. I suggested things in an completely unforceful, constructive way, and you are acting as if I 'barged' in and held a gun to your head saying 'USE MY IDEAS'. Complex isn't necessarily bad either - but its fine by me if you want it to be simple and basic.
ahirbhairav really liked your idea too. After you angrily closed the topic, he expressed his like for your idea by continuing it because you gave up. You are acting like he took a blatant copy of your idea and claimed it as his own, so you make a whiny post about how you are going to 'tell all your friends that ahir is copying.'
Firedrake is simply trying to clear things up by explaining that it is okay to do what ahir did - and somehow, that means he is spreading rumors? Its not behind your back, this is a forum, its open to everyone (kind of similar to IDEAS).

If you want to run a collab, you need to be open to suggestions, have some patience, not quit as soon as things don't turn out how you want, and generally be a positive person towards the people who LIKE AND ARE WILLING TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR IDEA.
What you are doing is how NOT to run a collab.

Not to rage quit or anything, but I don't really want to be a part of this anymore. Its been blown out of proportion and I am generally annoyed. Good luck everybody.
