Scratch

I have a question: I don't fully understand why the Miscallaeneous forums got closed. Was it because it wasn't "scratch related", because that would not make sense as the TIRAP and TIMAC forums are neither Scratch-related ever. When you have the two new forums, it limits the type of topics you can create. You can't many polls, food related topics can't be created unless you are talking about recipes, as you cannot create, read, or play food (unless you are a toddler  ). Sometimes current events aren't allowed or topics aren't allowed. I just want clarification on why the Misc forums got deleted.
