Did anyone get the SmileDip gag? It's practically drugs.  lol

Yeah, and Indeed it's awesome

Actually, Smile Dip was more of a illegal drug. It had ropes around it saying "DO NOT SELL"

And what about from Fight Fighters:

"Gurrrrrrrl, why u actin' so cray-cray?"

It kind of depends on what language is and the amount of it.

Re: Hidden Humor In Children's Entertainment

I don't get "language."

People make them up and call them bad? Do they go:

"Garlage is the new swear word tommorow! Don't say it!"

So isn't it really just nonsense?

They start out as words with an inappropriate denotation. The literal meaning of a swear word is often very explicit or obscene in definition.

If you actually are interested in this, research some etymology.

The s word is because it was something you'd say to people to belittle them, people don't shout out the racist n word because it still is racist and offensive, and I guess we're in a state where the s word is still offensive but if someone called you one you wouldn't really be all that offended, give it 100 years and it'll be fine.

All swears have history, and it takes a while for history to be completely forgotten, and with computers and accurate logs of everything it seems that it might take a very long time for these things to be forgotten.

I'm rereading "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" and it's hilarious

"Like most fourteen-year-olds, she was right handed."

"He found himself reading the same sentence over and over again.   He found himself reading the same sentence over and over again.  He found himself reading the same sentence over and over again."

I disagree (with the "because" part).  "Idiot" isn't considered a dirty word, even though it can be used as an epithet.  Ditto "bird-brain."  No, that other word is inadmissible because it refers to a bodily function that some people don't like to think about.

I read up to the fifth or sixth book, but then the school library didn't have any more.
