It happens to all of us, sadly.
I feel the same way. I work so hard on my projects, and nobody cares. I hear lots of stories of Scratchers getting famous by just working hard on what they make. I've worked hard on lots of projects for Scratchers (some outside of Scratch projects, e.g. Mod Share) but still nobody cares.
It's sad, but it's the way things go.

It can be difficult to get views on your work. There are a some projects and topics around to help you maximize your exposure. Check out the Show and Tell forum for advertising topics. Or maybe you could find some helpful tips in this gallery of projects about the Scratch website I've collected.
Working in a collaboration is a good way to meet up with people of similar interests who might want to view your projects in the future. And, of course, the advice I always give is to leave a lot of helpful comments on other people's projects - as that helps them and it helps you too, since they often stop by your projects to see who is leaving them comments

Um, The usual guides don't work, so those ideas don't really work.

filler.
You joined probebly 3 or 4 days ago.
I didn't get my first hits until I was really active on the forums and had made about 10 projects. Just hang in there, make friends, be active on the forums, build a nice rep and you can get views. Mabye not 500 views every project, but make awesome projects and you can get maybe 20-50 like me.
