I'm not lying. You're lying about all that Obama's supposedly done.
Sorry about that. I just had to get that off my chest. Whew, it feels good to let that one out.Wow. You just insulted 95% of us here. I have to say, that disgusts me almost as much as Romney does. Romney's making everything up on the fly and saying that it's been his plan all along. And must I remind you that the republican party got us into both wars and has pushed to not end them? You haven't provided any evidence for anything you've said. I call the general population of the republican party tribal for a reason; there's no evidence whatsoever. I take that back. there is evidence. They've tried this kind of stuff before, and look where we were when bushs term ended. And after even the first debate, he STILL can't give any specifics. He just does whatever he can to get in power so that he can make sure the top 0.1 percent are as much richer as everyone else as they are now, if not more. Ah, that felt good to get off my chest.
I did not mean that as an insult. Please do not be insulted by it.
But you just called jvvg a liar...

I stopped watching a while ago, but I seriously doubt that's all he said.
He has also pretty much ended the war in Iraq and is working on Afghanistan right now.Yeah, but it's still a war. There's no difference between the war in Iraq, or Afghanistan,

OK, so I don't really get into politics but this is a terrible way to argue. When you assume other people are lying, all that does is make you closer minded. After all, when people beat you, it's not that you're wrong - they're just good liars. When you refute someone's points you should use facts instead of just assuming someone is blindly lying. In fact, what you said is downright wrong. Obama (not supposedly, he did) ended the war in Iraq and many of the soldiers have come back.
Also, don't search on Google for these kinds of things. See, Google collects your searches and gives back results that match with your other things. For instance, a while ago on slinger's wonderful site, Coder's Shed, someone mentioned that whenever they searched for something, there would be something programming-related in the results. This isn't true for everyone, obviously. Their preferences biased their results.
When this happens to politics, it creates a bubble where everywhere you go, people tell you that your opinions are right. It's called group polarization - when people of the same beliefs talk to people of similar beliefs, they believe stronger. There was a study on this made by Cass Sunstein in Colorado. He put together two groups, one of people who were sort of liberal and one of people who were sort of conservative, and he had them talk about controversial issues like same-* marriage. When the experiment was over, both groups believed more strongly in their respective opinions.
Instead, use duckduckgo.com for politics. This is like Google but without the bias. The results will probably be markedly different for you - it sure was for me.
edit: holy carp that is long O___o
edit 2: that study

Who else watched the full debate?
Ah, it was so nice to let the "I'm not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers" candidate get called out for his, ehm, unreal mistruths.
We'll have to wait till Wednesday for the polls on the winner of the debate, so hopefully we can all back up our "Mr guy won" with a "because" statement, nyes?

I'm confused as to how I could side 80% with Jill Stein
I just took the 2012 election quiz and found that I side 80% with Jill Stein, especially on Environmental, Immigration, Foreign Policy, Economic, and Domestic policy issues. Who do you side with?

Jill stein. To bad 3rd party candidates have such a low chance of winning that they group them with not voting at all :l

I sure didn't see any creaming.

Yeah, I didn't see any "creaming, verb: The act of making cream" up there, just the President refuting everything the Governor said.

Or the two slang meanings (one of which I was referring to)

Apparently almost every single poll showed Obama won.

it was a far stronger performance than his first one.
Lol nobody responded to the first post of the page...
Edit: Just browsing /r/politics, the unanimous agreement is that Obama destroyed Romney. Fox News left out Romney's statements on guns in their transcript (Do ctrl-f and search for "Audio Gap," that's their supposed excuse for hiding the information)
Fox News even is accepting that Obama won, but is blaming the questions
Also search for "Second debate fact check."

Really? I watched a focus group in a post debate show, they were all swing voters. Most of them said they had voted for Obama in '08, but the majority said they thought Romney won. They said he seemed presidential, on his game, and collected. I guess it's viewers opinion, but the focus group all said they thought Romney won, and they were all undecided up until then. ^^

Romney told a bunch of lies, and almost every source I can find says Obama won.

Yes really, it's pretty obvious if you watch the debate.

I am taking it as an insult. You told me I am wrong when I was pretty clearly right. Telling a blantant lie that hurts me is an insult in my book.
Like we have all said, President Obama has done much more than you said.
