Starting up Scratch for the first time

I'm just getting around to using the new version of Scratch for the first time.  I had the old version running fine last year in an eMac lab.  I have now copied the new version onto all the eMacs and a couple different models of the iMac.  When I double click the icon to open the application it brings up the window where I should browse for a file.  I'm not sure what I am looking for.  Am I missing some part of it?

Thanks,
KAty

Re: Starting up Scratch for the first time

It is asking for the Scratch.IMAGE file. Go to the folder where you installed Scratch and you'll find it.  smile

Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Yes, that was it.  I threw that away because I thought it was the old squeak program that had somehow gotten into the folder.  It's all working now.

Thank you,
Katy
