Only a slight difference...

And, something else from that article: "(d) the main drivers of the remaining deficit are Republican policies."

True.

Another thing: when he made the quote about his birth certificate (saying everybody knows where he's from), he meant to joke, but it was his racist nature coming out by saying that because of Obama's race, people naturally assume he isn't American.

I wouldn't worry too much about a joke.

Don't you bother yourself, I'm not worrying over a joke.  wink

I just worry about Mitt Romney when he
- Gives his dog a fresh-air view from the roof of the car
- Wishes he was Latino so that he'd do better in election
- Purchases a car elevator for his wife's couple of Cadillacs
- Messess up his first name on live telvision
- Calls half the country moochers, gets $77,000 tax break for pet horse
- Gets a spray tan before going on Spanish TV, misses ears & hands

But this shouldn't be a problem once he's President, because weird personality traits always disappear after taking the oath. Right?  tongue

Who did?

Romney attacked President Obama for "apologizing for American values" when he apologized about the video that sparked the riots.
President Obama was apologizing for the fact that some Americans are anti-Islam (and just plain idiots), and Romney attacked him for that, which pretty much means he's anti-Islam.

I'm pretty sure Romney was trying to use the leverage of Obama calling some of the americans bad things (even though it's true), that doesn't necessarily mean Romney is anti-muslim, it means that he's going to try to do whatever he can to get at Obama.

Our ambassadors were KILLED by people who were protesting the video. Why should Obama apologies for it when our people were killed by them?

Actually it is now believed that there were two gatherings at the embassy: one (somewhat) peaceful protest and an organized terrorist attack.

And why should anyone apologize for it? Maybe because this dude just offended the religion and prophet of over 1.6 billion people?

I made a map predicting how I think the election will go: http://www.270towin.com/2012_election_p … ?mapid=Jgn.

It's probably not that accurate, but that's what I think at the moment.

Not really
Casual racism (or any kind of prejudice) is a big deal in our society
I wish it wasn't so but it is-people assuming blacks are inferior due to their skin colour, women are all clingy and will 'friendzone', that wonderful word to vilify women who don't want relationships (with you or not at all), you...

Yeah, I saw that on the Colbert Report.
Although, would someone waste their short amount of time on the national microphone for that?

True.  tongue
I was once watching a Republican debate, and at one point the moderator gave the candidates a break by asking them questions completely unrelated to politics (e.g. whether Herman Cain liked pizza crust thick or thin).

Obviously the candidates prefer cheese.
By not having to microwave the peperroni, the pizza company saves two to three seconds, per pizza, and increases optimal capmpaign headquarters efficiency by as much as 9,000%.
