Will you be recording some vocals for HCtS as well? Because the original has backup vocals from both John and Paul.
Yeah, maybe I will. I will definitely consider doing backing vocals for 'Here Comes the Sun'. Ideally, we would have a vocalist close to Paul's range (me), John's range (jji?) and George's range (unfortunately All4one doesn't have a good mic). I won't necessarily do lead vocals; only if I have to.
(Yes All4one, my love for the semi-colon is still greater jk)

:o NEVER. The semi-colon and I are special. :'c
In all seriousness, I might be getting a new laptop soon which will hopefully have a better mic.

Well, a built in microphone is very unlikely to have the fidelity required for something like this

Correction, my friend. I had a Windows 7 for a brief time and the built-in mic was absolutely brilliant.

Hi, The Walruses,
This is chongyian from Elite, a new Scratch Collaboration. Would you like to pass us a few pieces of your wonderful music? It might be your chance to get famous! So, what are we going to do? We are currently working on an operating system with a music app store. From the app store, we can download music if you have enough credits. However, our leader, Ztype, mentioned that it was better if we used music from Scratch Bands. I would like to thank you in advance on behalf of "Elite: Exclusive Games" in advance. You will also be notified when our project is released.
Yours faithfully,
chongyian
Elite, Silver

I think it would be fine for you to use some of our music, once we release some, but that's for All4one to decide.

Thank you!

Yeah, it depends on All4one's consensus here^
Although we don't have music as of yet (don't know what you refer to as our 'wonderful music' lol), we should be releasing our debut singles soon.

I think it'd be great to have our music featured on your app once we release some! We'll let you know when our debut single is out. Until then, best of luck with the collab!

DIY and I have decided NOT to use autotune in any of our music. You agree right?

Haha yeah, that epic Skype chat where I introduced you to the LOVE album for the first time and we listened to the whole album at a stretch!

Man, wish I could've joined. That sounds like lots of fun.
And, of course, I would agree not to use autotune. Even if it helps our vocals a bit, it still leaves a very odd mark on it that doesn't sound quite right at the end. The Beatles never used autotune, so I'd say we probably shouldn't.
If we ever do need to improve the vocals a bit, then we can possibly double-track them like John often did with his songs.

Yep. Cool
I hate autotune

Exactly what I was telling jji during our chat. And you're right; it was loads of fun!
Double tracking is a method I'm using for FC tracks too, so we can apply that here.

Autotune can sometimes be a cool effect, but it usually disturbs me that it's often used to cover up off-tune vocals. Also, I once heard a Beatles song set to autotune, and it sounded wretched.

Yeah, and my respect is limited for artists who use Autotune. It means even lesser talented artists can make it big. I agree, it will ruin a Beatles song.
