Actually, that would not be a good idea.  Youtube = publicity, and the scratch team doesn't really want everybody to easily get into 2.0.  If that were to happen, they would need to take the trouble to block it.

Yeah... The only reason it is "open" right now is because not many people are using it.

And because they are getting indirect advice that is generally given by people that know how to follow a text-based tutorial. If a Youtube video were made, people would get to the Editor and then start complaining about things not working (cloud variables and other features that aren't meant to be accessible by non-official testers).

the user id block is a reporter,so just use it like this:

when gf clicked
say <user id>
and the sprite should say the user id.

It's just a number.
EDIT:  You could use this to say "You are the millionth person to visit this project!"  or something.

No...someone leaked how to get into the editor. The website scratch2.weebly.com showed how to get into the website, and save projects, and make projects. But it was taken down.

Haha! That was me! > big_smile

Why did you say it wasn't the other guy?  And why did you take it down?

Re: Scratch 2.0 Alpha

There was no "other guy". I made the site myself.

And I can't say why I took it down.

The CIA says I shouldn't.

"Any sufficiently complicated Scratch program contains an ad hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of BYOB."
