Yeah but you probably had 'Mac' habits where you didn't check anything and just downloaded stuff from everywhere.

I was actually a pro-windows guy and only used the laptop for school.

I've never used a Mac except for in the stores.

I used computers when I was little, and I never gave my parent's computer a virus.

I got my own laptop when I was 10, and NEVER got a virus either.

all you need is a simple anti-virus program.

and some common sense.

My aunt got a virus on her computer because she clicked on a pop up ad XD

That's interesting, considering I never click ads and had many protective programs installed. 

Maybe it's because I had Vista 

(From the 3 viruses I've had, 2 have been on Vista and one was on XP).

The only thing kind if like a virus ive gotten was a low Cpu warning

I do kind of have power over my own topic. I'd prefer it if people used my topic for discussing the issue I mentioned in the first post, and was saying it there.

I get no viruses at all and have had this PC for a year.
I don't use skype Myself (I use google+ hangouts) the way to avoid this is to get a skype alternative (Like google+ hangouts) but will tell all my friends who have skype this.

I'm surprised that modern computers still have these vulnerabilities.

Well, the vulnerability of the user downloading a zip file, then opening the program inside it.

This virus is usually started by a problem between the keyboard and the chair.
