Unless I'm mistaken if you're developing cross-platform software you should always make sure it works on all the platforms.

I did patch the scrolling to disable it with MC Patcher, but when I run Minecraft with Magic Launcher, it doesn't disable the scrolling.

You actually think Mojang will do that when there is a more pressing bug for Linux?
On Linux all the LWJGL libraries are outdated, if you wanna run minecraft without getting stuck keys every few seconds (usually happens in pvp, you have to open your inventory and close it to get rid of the stuck key) you have to update the libraries manually.

Yes I hate that too, but you should seriously try playing on a Mac. At least you can fix that problem on Linux.

Nope, Mojang includes outdated LWJGL libraries for Linux when you update Minecraft. You have to manually go to the .minecraft directory and add them in.

Nonono, not the mouse button, the w,a,s,d, or space buttons are the ones that get stuck. You have to quickly open your inventory and close it tongue
