Their also lazy because black and white was just a remake of the old version.
If you mean black and white 2, you're wrong. The storyline is completely different, and there are new gyms and stuff. Plus, they're sequels, not remakes. They take place a few years after Black and white.

I don't see why people hate B/W2. Gen 1 and Gen 2 had less pokémon less fuctions (not that i'm hating it. B/W2. Gen 3 had the best story +Pokémon. But I still can't wait for B/W2!

i really love these games, and i suppose there's no reason for this forum page anymore. this page was supposed to be sharing ideas about the games and a place where people could talk about them. not a place to trash the games and say pokemon is dying, and say they shouldve or are making grey. anyone who has played these games will know these are the best ideas pokemon has ever come up with and will be sorry if they ever said anything negative about them here.

though ill most likely get hate for this, TIME TO LEARN KIDDOS
Nintendo actually put a lot of time and effort into pokemon black and white 2.
Seeing how there are new areas and functions to explore, and also the new trainers and gym leaders. Whats more, the game takes place two years after pokemon black and white and hasd a completely different storyline.
You even get to start off in a new town! Quite a nice one, at that.
As for the other generations, why hate on them? They were pretty good as well. If it
wasn't for generation 3, we wouldn't have ribbons or contests. As for generation 2, without that on we wouldn't have shiny pokemo to show off to our friends or put up for
trade to get awesome event pokemon that you missed out on. And of course, without Generation 1 there would be NO POKEMON. Even the sinnoh pokemo are important!
As for disliking a game for have two pokemon in their respective colors is just ridiculous.
And finally, Nintendo already said that there is NOT GOING TO BE A POKEMON GRAY.
As much as i hate to say this, you best take what they have or leave it and go back to waiting for a game that's never going to be made.
Thank you all for your time.

Being a big fan of the pokemon games, I have a lot to say about this, but I'll try to keep the discussions short. Pokemon Black and White is a good game, but it has an incredible lack of substance and innovation compared to other pokemon games. The Pokemon have bad designs for the most part, as they seem more like frankensteins pieced together that the flow that is seen in earlier generations. The storyline isn't too bad, but the thing I like about the other pokemon games is that the story was kept to a minimum. It made you feel like you actually were just a 10-year-old kid going on an adventure. That is somewhat lost to me this time around. The places to go to are easy to reach, as they do not require any hms to get there, and there is no backtracking (In the previous games, you had to go through at least one town with a gym you could not fight without going to other gym and battling them). I have never hated level grinding more than in this game. I generally don't mind level grinding, especially if it's only 1 or 2 levels, but the fact that you get less xp the higher your pokemon's level is is nonsense. Now you have to earn more xp to gain a level and get less xp for each battle? What kind of messed up * is this? This is especially annoying when preparing for gym fights, as you can spend hours level grinding and get next to nowhere. Team Plasma was a good idea, but half the time they defy their own statements! They beat up pokemon, steal pokemon on multiple occasions, and destroy ancient temples for no good reason! And then it turns out that they only want to conquer the world. REAL ORIGINAL, GAMEFREAK. You now have just created one of my most hated characters in all gaming. Ghetsis abouses his own son for his goals. Now to change the subject before I destroy my computer in a fit of rage. After you beat the Elite four and THAT guy, there is a lot more to explore. The pokemon levels of your opponents goes up by an average of 10. Their AI doesn't improve either. Their level is the only thing better about them. Now I appreciate trying to give us a challenge, but is this cheapness really necessary? Speaking of level improvements, the average Elite Four member level on your first runthrough is about 50. What is it on the second playthrough? 75! Why?! Why is this necessary!?!

And you are a genwunner who only likes the first because he grew up with it. Really , Black 2 was awesome. It had 3d graphics, fusions,a good plot. Really, don't stick in time.

First: You complained about the designs. Excuse me, this is coming from a game that revolves around strange and unusual creatures, some of which include: A PILE OF SLUDGE! A BALL WITH 2 MAGNETS ON IT! A DOG WITH TUSKS! A COCOON! A SLUG!
Secondly, you just complained that there isn't any backtracking? Have you ingested drugs recently? BACKTRACKING IS ONE OF THE 7 DEADLY SINS OF GAME DEVELOPMENT AND EVERYONE HATES IT.
Team plasma wasn't very original, but every team in the past has just wanted world domination when you bring them down to their base purpose:
Team Rocket stated it outright.
Team Aqua/Magma wanted the power over the god that they revived, and planned to bribe it by giving it more of its domain beforehand.
Team Galactic went as far as trying to create an entirely new universe which they ruled.
You complained that this one broke several trends, and then you complain when it adheres to another, that the fanbase showed no hate towards in the past?
You were supposed to hate Ghestis, by the way.
The level increase is a very good thing: I think it's a better challenge and is useful for grinding.
So, in short, this generation is just as original as the past ones and nothing about that is bad.
