I know they're not the same thing, but you're being very disrespectful like that and it is not polite.

For your example, you wouldn't need a folder, you'd just clone the dots.

The ST isn't going to add something like sprite classes so late in the production of 2.0 when you can do what kayybee said.

But it's not sprite classes. It's categories. They serve no purpose other than cleaning up clutter.

Read the suggestion, it clearly states an example with multiple sprites in, and the boolean mentioned would suggest the sprites didn't have to be identical.
It's the same idea, and has workarounds.

RE: Taddl
My game involves a lot of variables, one of them being points and the coding all involves them.  smile  Also, this suggestion isn't just for my Pacman- there could be other projects that involve more sprites  big_smile

I know. That's why I supported.  smile
But this pacman game:

doesn't use that many sprites, because I made pacman draw a black line.

He said it would make it easier to navigate to other sprites, so I'm guessing that the folders hide all the sprites from the sprite list until the folder is opened...

yes exactly... also..when you add a script to a folder- it would add that script to every sprite inside that folder... big_smile
