Roboto. I don't see why everyone hates on it. i set is my default font on my itouch and it is now 4x better.

that just makes it better

It's just people like complaining that some characters look like Helvetica. But the truth is that it only does if you squish some of the letters, and doesn't every sans font look helveticaish? you just need to squish it the right way.

I love Futura, especially bold and italicized. I also hold a deep love in my heart for Guilder, Gotham (not black), Bodoni (my go-to) and all Cape-Arcona fonts.
But there are probably lots I'm not mentioning.
