Hi All,
I'm sure this is dead easy but here goes...
I want to move a sprite up and down the screen but I do not want to change the direction in which the sprite is facing. How do I do this?
Any help - greatly appriciated,
G_O.

Ginger,
It is easy, but it's not obvious. Find the picture of your sprite in the upper middle part of the Scratch interface. To the left of the sprite are three buttons that control how it rotates. The top one (the default) rotates your sprite to face in the direction it's pointing in. The next button will just flip your sprite either left or right. The last one (which you want) will keep your sprite from rotating even when the direction changes.
