My thoughts on the debate:

Biden spoke out of turn way too much, and the moderator rarely stopped him.

Ryan would say something, and Biden would blurt out: "That's not true!" or "That's a bunch of malarkey!"

Also, Biden sounded very smug, condescending, and arrogant.

I LOVED the part where Biden was picking on Romney's 47 percent remark and Ryan says, "I think the vice president very well knows, that sometimes the words don't come out of your mouth the right way." ^^;

I love the part where Biden said "At least I always say what I mean"  tongue

Yep, me too. My whole family agrees on this too: Biden was silently laughing while Ryan was talking and acted like what Ryan was saying was a bunch of baloney. That is rude and disrespectful.

... Of course. Because he's so smart he can't/won't even do the math and/or research to see that their budget plan will destroy our economy and make it far worse than it is. People have actually done the math, and there would have to be a HUGE increase in economic growth because of it right when he first started it. People have tried this approach before, and it has resulted in not economic growth but economic LOSS. If he did the math/research then he would know that. In fact, he probably does but doesn't care. He also avoided questions a lot and didn't actually answer them or give specifics. Romney did the same thing. Because they don't even HAVE any specifics.

All you've been saying on this topic has been along the lines of "My parents said blah" or "I found this in the mail". You should form your own opinions, or at least comprehending before agreeing.

Well no offense, but it seems as if your parents/family are an extremely biased source. You should do research online or in a book before you post, or at least cite sources occasionally. (I would have earlier but I don't have links any more :l)

One time. And not really cited, Then you told people not to watch it, which sends out a message that it isn't very trustworthy. And does it matter what you're registered as? I was just saying don't use your parents or an untrustworthy sounding show that you tell us not to watch. I guess if you cite that, should I cite the Colbert Report?  tongue

No, no, no. Romney and Ryan aren't stupid. They know how the math works, they know they can't reveal what it says in public.

They know how the math works but they don't have the specifics. But they still insist it does because they have no other plan that actually has any possibility of working.

Re: United States 2012 Presidential Election

I've heard just not interfering with the economy can actually work better in some cases, than intervening to fix the problem.

Also, Romney is forceful and interrupting and is praised for his performance at the debate, Biden does the same and he is rude.
